The day I left on my trip was Superbowl Sunday. The Chiefs and the Buccaneers were playing. I don’t care for watching sports on TV; I’m more of a “live action” spectator, so, it didn’t bother me that I was missing out. My husband gets too loud and excitable anyway. (Super obnoxious).

I was out all day with my girlfriends and enjoying the coastal weather. My husband had plans to go to a friends house to watch the game. Call it the “guys-gathering” and dad bods all around. Hehe. He sent me updates here and there about the game. It was fun still being involved although I was hours away (and missing the loudness).

Towards the end of the night, I get the report I was expecting!

From my journal (separate from my blog):

I was away in Monterey, however, my family went over to a friend’s house to watch the Superbowl. Needless to say, the Buccaneers won the Superbowl and my husband was able to win a couple bets he wagered against a few friends. $100 win! 🙂

BUCCANEERS WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!

So, my husband isn’t a Bucc’s fan but he watched for the sake of the sport and to support his longtime Patriots quarterback-turned-Buccs-quaraterback, Tom Brady! It was a congratulations, expected.

Today’s challenge just fell into place.
