Today’s events were pretty uneventful. My husband slept as it’s a curse from graveyard shift but it is was it is. I did intend on providing a massage but I got off work a little late. Then, we barely got the ball moving after my work hours were done, so by the time I was available, my husband had to get ready and leave for work.

Today’s challenge was: CONTACT YOUR SPOUSE SOME TIME DURING THE DAY AND ASK HOW HE OR SHE IS DOING AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU COULD DO FOR THEM.

I did make it a point to ask him if he needed anything done but of course, he declines.

From my journal (separate from my blog):

I asked this morning and he said “No.” He’s been complaining about his back hurting so a massage is in order. I think I may go grab a pack of beers for him. IPAs, here we go. 🙂

So, simply, I found a 12 pack of beer at the grocery store when I went on errands last night. But, he’s not tried these ones yet so, he’s got some new flavors to try. Hopefully he likes what I selected. (It’s Stone, IPA mixed pack).

I’ll do a follow-up and edit this post to include what he thinks of it.

I do want to note, that it wasn’t imperative that I buy him anything today to meet today’s challenge. I mean, he literally said ‘no’. So, this could have been a smooth sailing kind of day. However, I’m going to be out of town in a couple days so I figured I help do a little beer stocking for him. I also planned on helping him prepare for Sunday — it’s the SUPER BOWL!! My husband is a die-hard Patriots fan. So, although the Patriots did not make it this year, one key player – TOM BRADY – has taken the Buccs to the Super Bowl. This will be exciting to watch since Brady has once again made history in the sports sector of the world. Whoot! Whoot!

Stay tuned for Day 5!!! Tomorrow is going to be a real challenge, I assure you. (Dun, dun……..DDDUUUNNNNN!)
